The Baylor Bears won their first NCAA Tournament game since 1950 on Thursday, now they look to reach the Sweet Sixteen when they face Old Dominion on Saturday at 5:45PM ET.

These two teams will battle it out in the South Regional from New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. Baylor is the No. 3 seed while Old Dominion is the No. 11 seed.
Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com have made Baylor a 4-point favorite over Old Dominion on Saturday evening. The over/under has been set at 129.
Baylor reached the second round with a 68-59 win over No. 14 Sam Houston State on Thursday. The Bears held Sam Houston State to just 28 points in the second half as their defense forced SHS into 33.8 percent shooting from the field and 6-of-31 shooting from 3-point land. The Bears also held a 45-34 rebounding edge in the win. Ekpe Udoh had 20 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists to lead Baylor while LaceDarius Dunn had 13 points and Anthony Jones and Quincy Acy each had 10 points.
Old Dominion has never reached the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament. The Monarchs last played in the second round in 1995. Old Dominion reached today’s game by defeated No. 6 Notre Dame 51-50 on Thursday. The Monarchs held the Irish to 35 percent shooting and held Luke Harangody to just four points on 2-of-9 shooting. ODU was led in the win by Frank Hassell, who had 15 points and nine rebounds while Keyon Carter added in 11 points and six boards.
Baylor looks to be able to score more consistently than Notre Dame did against Old Dominion. While the game may be at a slower pace than the Bears would like, Baylor will also keep the Monarchs from being successful on offense, which could speed up the tempo late in the game if ODU needs to comeback. Look for the Bears to cover and the over to hit in this one.
