Gonzaga gets its chance to show it can play with the big boys in the NCAA Tournament as the Bulldogs face Florida State Friday at 7:10PM ET.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Florida State 1.5-point favorites over Gonzaga on Friday evening. The over/under has been set at 132.
Florida State his making its second straight tournament appearance and 12th overall showing. The Seminoles are 22-9 on the year and finished 10-6 in the ACC. FSU scores 68.9 points per-game, which ranks 161st in the nation. The Seminoles give up 60.3 points per-game, which ranks 20th in the country. Solomon Alabi leads FSU, as he scores 11.6 points per-game and also pulls down over six rebounds per-outing. Chris Singleton averages 10.3 points per-game and 7.1 rebounds per-game as well for the Seminoles.
Gonzaga is appearing in its 12th straight NCAA Tournament and 13th overall in school history. The Bulldogs are 26-6 this season and were 12-2 in the West Coast Conference. Gonzaga scores 77.6 points per-game, ranking 26th in the country, while allowing 67 points per-game, which ranks 135th. Matt Bouldin posts 15.8 points and 4.1 assists per-game for Gonzaga, while Elias Harris scores 14.7 points and pulls down 7.2 rebounds per-game. Two other Bulldogs score 10 points or more per-game as well.
While FSU is the higher seed, it is favored. Sure the Seminoles play in the ACC, but given the impressive way St. Mary’s won its tournament opener, you have to respect what the West Coast Conference brings to the tournament each year. Look for the Bulldogs to win this game outright.
