Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have given WVU’s Da’Sean Butler and over/under of 17.5 points for the contest.
The senior forward averages 17.4 points per-game for the Mountaineers. In two of his last three games and four of his last six, he has scored 18 points or more. Butler has taken at least 10 shots in all but four games this season and taken a minimum of seven shots in every game. Butler shoots 41.6 percent from the field on the year and 35 percent from 3-point land. Butler has passed the 17.5 point mark in 15 games this season.
Duke’s Kyle Singler has been given an over/under of 5.5 3-point field goal attempts for the contest. The junior forward averages 17.6 points per-game and shoots 39 percent from 3-point land. Singler averages 5.3 3-point field goal attempts per-game this season. Singler has attempted at least five 3-pointers in the last four games, but attempted at least six in 13 games during the year. WVU allows its opponents to 31.6 percent shooting from beyond the arc. They give up 5.3 3-pointers per-game and 16.8 3-point field goal attempts per-game.
