Toronto Raptors DFS Notes
Fred VanVleet (left hip flexor strain) is questionable for Monday’s game against the 76ers. Already dealing with a sore right knee, VanVleet strained his left hip flexor during the second quarter of Saturday’s Game 4 victory. Should he not be able to play on Monday, that would open the door for Scottie Barnes (left ankle) to return to the starting lineup. Malachi Flynn may pick up a few more minutes in this scenario, but it’s unlikely to be enough to make him a viable DFS target.
Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
Doc Rivers said on Sunday that the MRI confirmed that Joel Embiid has a torn ligament in his right thumb, but that it won’t impact his availability this postseason. Embiid hasn’t had a problem playing through it, but it’s something to keep in mind. He’s averaged 26 points and 11.8 rebounds through four games against the Raptors this series. He’ll continue to be the focal point of the team on both sides of the ball, but other guys will likely be asked to step up to help him out since he’s not 100%. Th injury will require surgery, but he’ll wait until the offseason to have it.
