76ers vs. Celtics Prediction

The Philadelphia 76ers stayed alive in the Eastern Conference Semifinals by winning Game 4 after dropping the first three games of their series vs. the Boston Celtics. Can Philadelphia pick up another win tonight as the series shifts to Boston?

Saric comes up big in win

Philadelphia power forward Dario Saric was fantastic in the 103-92 home victory in Game 4 to cut its series deficit to 3-1. Saric scored a game-best 25 points on 9-of-17 shooting, connecting on 1-of-3 3-pointers and going 6-of-6 from the free throw lineT. He also pulled down eight rebounds, dished out four assists, had one blocked shot and recorded one steal. Point guard TJ McConnell entered the starting lineup and had 19 points on 9-of-12 shooting with seven boards and five assists. Ben Simmons added 19 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Morris strong off bench

Boston power forward Marcus Morris scored 17 points on 6-of-15 shooting, hitting 3-of-6 3-pointers in the Game 4 defeat. He also had five rebounds and two blocked shots in his 34 minutes of work. Morris was second on the Celtics in scoring as starting small forward Jayson Tatum once again hit the 20-point mark as he scored exactly 20 to go with four rebounds and four assists. Marcus Smart added 14 points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks.

NBA Betting Trends

Philadelphia

The over is 5-1 in the last six Sixers road games. Philadelphia is 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings.

Boston

The over is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings in Boston. The Celtics are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 home games.

Prediction:

Philadelphia looked strong last game and found a spark with a different starting lineup as McConnell was outstanding. Look for the same starting five here. Boston is fantastic at making adjustments and will do so here, but I just don’t believe the 76ers are done quite yet. Look for the visitors to build off what they did in Game 4 and extend this series further.
