Paolo Banchero finished Wednesday’s 126-120 win over the Pacers with 23 points (6-of-14 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block, and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes. Banchero led five Magic starters in double figures with 23 points, matching his total from Monday’s win over the Celtics. The rookie forward has hit double figures in 13 straight games, but the lack of production in the rebounding category has recently limited Banchero’s fantasy value. Averaging 3.6 rebounds per game, he’s providing 16th-round value in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks. Banchero entered Wednesday averaging 6.5 rebounds per game on the season, and he’s a top 150 player in 9-cat formats. But it may be difficult to approach the top 100, as the return of Jonathan Isaac (5/1/2/2 with one 3-pointer in eight minutes) means another player will be competing for minutes and scoring opportunities.

Jimmy Butler (lower back tightness) tells reporters Thursday he will suit up Friday against the Magic. After being a late scratch Tuesday night, Butler is returning to the lineup for Friday’s game against the Magic. Even without Butler’s services, the Heat were able to knock off a shorthanded but tough Celtics squad. The return of Jimmy means Max Strus should revert back to his usual role off the bench.
