Boston Celtics DFS Notes
Jayson Tatum played 40 minutes in Sunday’s 105-95 win over the Hawks, tallying 38 points (13-of-27 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block, and four 3-pointers. Boston got off to a slow start in the Super Bowl Sunday matinee, but Tatum was a huge reason why they were able to turn things around. He shot 6-of-10 from the field in the third quarter, scoring 16 of his 38 points. A top-25 player in 9-cat formats for the season, Tatum is headed in the right direction after getting his 2021-22 season off to a slow start. Also of note is the upcoming schedule, as the Celtics will play five games during the upcoming “mega week.” That’s great news for managers who have Tatum rostered.
Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
The Sixers announced that James Harden (left hamstring) will not play in Tuesday’s game against Boston or Thursday’s game against Milwaukee and that he will not play in the all-star game either, according to Tim Bontemps of ESPN. Harden will continue to rehab his hamstring this week, so his next opportunity to play would be on the 25th against the Timberwolves. The Sixers will be thin at the guard spot this week, but Furkan Korkmaz and Shake Milton likely are the best options for Philadelphia’s two remaining games this week
Celtics vs. 76ers NBA Betting Prediction
The Celtics are 0-7 against the spread in their last seven games versus the 76ers and are 0-4 against the number in their last four games in Philadelphia. The 76ers, meanwhile, are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games as an underdog and are 14-6-1 against the number in their last 21 games as a home dog.
