Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
Joel Embiid (sore back) is not on the injury report ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Lakers. Embiid has been nagged by the sore back recently, but this hasn’t been enough to keep him on the bench outside of the occasional rest night. He’ll be back in the middle on Wednesday, and could be in for a big night given the Lakers’ lack of quality options at the center position. Paul Millsap will return to the bench, where neither he nor DeAndre Jordan offers much in the way of fantasy value.
Los Angeles Lakers DFS Notes
LeBron James hit 17-of-29 shots and 4-of-4 free throws for 38 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists, a steal and a block in 41 minutes of Monday’s 131-120 win over the Cavaliers in Cleveland. This was LeBron’s sixth triple-double of the season and 105th of his career and he was basically a walking highlight reel all night. HIs posterization of Kevin Love will get the most looks but he had about 10 plays that you’ll be seeing over the next day or so. The Lakers are currently No. 9 in the West and sit a 1/2 game ahead of the Pelicans.
76ers vs. Lakers NBA Betting Prediction
The 76ers are 4-1against the spread in their last five games in L.A. and have covered in six of their last seven games versus the Lakers overall. They’re also 9-4-1 against the number in their last 14 road games and are 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five games as a road favorite, while the Lakers are just 14-37 at the window in their last 51 games following a win.
