Rockets vs. Warriors Game 1 Pick
OAKLAND, CA (ATS Consultants) – The Western Conference Finals will kick off tonight at 9:00PM ET and the Warriors are a double-digit favorite over the Rockets for Game 1.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Warriors are 10-point home favorites over the Rockets for tonight’s Game 1 matchup, while the total is sitting at 220 points after the number opened at 218.5.
The Rockets may have gotten swept by the Warriors in the regular season, but the last game took place in January. Dwight Howard was not healthy and the Rockets are a different team. Memphis had the formula to beat Golden State at least for two games, which is rebound and defend.
The Rockets can do both with Howard, Josh Smith and Trevor Ariza. James Harden will be playing with a chip on his shoulder after Stephen Curry won the MVP. Smith added 34 points in the final two games against the Clippers, while Trevor Ariza added six 3-pointers.
