The Mavericks closed the NBA Finals with a 105-95 win over the Heat in Game 6 on the road. Dallas was led by Jason Terry in the contest, as he had 27 points on 11-of-16 shooting.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog Dallas came into the playoffs with 20/1 odds to win the NBA Championship, meaning a $100 wager on the Mavericks will pay out an additional $2,000.

The Mavericks had a tough road to the NBA Championships. As the third seed in the West, Dallas had to get past No. 6 Portland in the first round in six games.

Next up for Dallas was the two-time defending NBA Champions, the L.A. Lakers. Dallas made quick work of the Lakers, sweeping the champs with ease.

Following that, Dallas disposed of Oklahoma City in five games to reach the NBA Finals, where they stopped the “Big Three” and Miami.
