BROOKLYN, MI (ATS Consultants) – The NASCAR Sprint Cup moves to Michigan International Speedway for the Pure Michigan 400.
This is the 23rd race on the 2013 Sprint Cup Series schedule. This is a 2-mile D-shaped racetrack. Greg Biffle won this race in June and dominates two-mile oval racetracks. Kyle Busch won this race last year. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Jimmie Johnson is a 5/1 favorite to win today’s race, while Kasey Kahne is 7/1 and Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth are both 8/1, respectively.
He has four wins on the season and each has come at an oval racetrack. At Michigan, Kenseth has two wins, 12 top-five finishes and 18 top-10 finishes. He had an average position of 6.0 last time here finishing sixth. He’s due for a good run.
Junior loves this racetrack sine it was repaved. He won at Michigan earlier this year and has been very consistent on intermediate tracks this season. He will bounce back with a strong performance.
Longshots
He fills in for Tony Stewart in the No. 14 car this week. He started seventh and finished 11th in the June race at Michigan.
