Edwards won the pole for the 2012 Daytona 500 on Sunday, assuring he will start up front in Sunday’s race. Edwards edged Greg Biffle for the pole and those two are the only drivers that know their starting spots for Sunday’s race, while the rest of the field will be determined in Thursday’s Gatorade Duels.

With the pole in his favor, Edwards now has odds of +1000 to win Sunday’s race. He is one of seven drivers to have that money line. Biffle now comes in with a money line of +2200 to win the race as he will start in second.

The favorite to win the race according to oddsmakers is Kevin Harvick, who has a money line of +800. Harvick finishing 20th in Sunday’s qualifying, but he will have a chance to improve his position in the Duels. Harvick is a former Daytona 500 winner, taking the 2007 championship.

The Daytona 500 will take place Sunday, February 26 from Daytona International Speedway at 1:30PM ET. For complete odds and track information on this year’s event, see below.
