My numbers suggest the Penguins and Ducks will combine for 5.5 goals or fewer the majority of the time in their Friday meeting, providing value on the Under against a total of 6. The Under is hitting in 55 percent of simulations. Pittsburgh has played Under in four straight as a road favorite and is on a 6-2-1 run to the Under in its last nine road games overall.

My projections see at least 229 points hitting the scoreboard Friday night between the Clippers and Nuggets, comfortably going Over the total by double figures. My data sees the Over hitting in nearly 70 percent of simulations. The Nuggets are known for their half-court defense but they can also play an up-tempo game, especially now that they are healthy. Denver has played 3-1-1 to the Over following a win and is on a 6-1-1 Over spurt in all games.

The Pelicans return home after a three-game road trip to face a Cavaliers team that will be playing without Andre Drummond (calf). The Cavaliers have pulled off back-to-back wins against the Heat and Sixers, but both of those contests came at home. Not only that, but Jimmy Butler was out for the Heat and the Sixers played most their game without Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. Facing a healthy Pelicans team on the road is an entirely different story. Despite this big number, I’ll take the Pelicans to cover.

This should be a fun game since the Heat are one of the best teams in the league at home and the Mavericks have been excellent on the road. However, with Luka Doncic (thumb) listed as questionable, the Mavericks could be in a tough spot here if he’s forced to sit. Even if he does play, this is a small line and the Heat are 23-4 at home, so I’ll take them to cover.

They enter this contest having lost four in a row, including an embarrassing 20-point loss at the hands of the Suns. For the season, they are just 13-15-1 ATS in Utah. Meanwhile, the Wizards are a respectable 14-14 ATS on the road and have been tough lately. They forced the Bucks to go into overtime earlier in the week and defeated the Nets by four on Wednesday. I think the Jazz win, but this line is large enough that I like taking the points.

This has a been a negative indicator for them for some time now, as they are 0-17 ATS off a win in which they committed fewer than 10 turnovers and did not have more than 20 assists. The last 11 times the Bobcats were favored in this spot, they went 1-10 straight up. Meanwhile Kent State is 8-0 ATS off a road game in which it scored less than 10 percent of its points from the foul line. We are on the Golden Flashes.
