World Cup Group G Odds
(The Spread) β Group G of the 2014 World Cup is thought to be the toughest of any group. Here is a look at the odds to emerge from this foursome as the winner.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Germany is favored to win this group, as it has odds of -150 to win. The other odds to win are Portugal (+250), Ghana (+900) and the United States (+900).
Germany has been a very consistent power in the World Cup, placing in the top three the last three World Cups while winning this event a total of three times. Germany hasnβt failed to reach the second round of a World Cup since 1950.
Portugal is appearing in its sixth World Cup. The team finished fourth in 2006 and reached the second round in 2010.
Ghana is appearing in its third World Cup. It has reached the second round in its previous two appearances, including a quarterfinal run in 2010.
The United States is looking to reach the second round in back-to-back World Cups for the first time. The U.S. hasnβt gotten past the second round since the first World Cup in 1930.
