Olympic Hockey Group C odds
SOCHI, Russia (The Spread) – Group C will be a competitive battle in ice hockey at the 2014 Olympics. Here is a look at the odds to come out on top of this group.

Each group features four teams that will play in a round robin series of games. The group winner is assured a bye into the quarterfinals. According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Sweden is the slight favorite, as it has odds of -200 to win. Other odds to win are Czech Republic (+188), Switzerland (+700) and Latvia (+8000).
Sweden has won the gold medal twice in Olympic history. It last won in the 2006 games and went on to place fifth in 2010. It has finished fifth in three of the last four Olympic games.
Czech Republic placed seventh at the 2010 Olympics and third in 2006. They have medaled in two of the last four Olympics, including a gold medal in 1998.
Latvia has played in the last three Olympic games and placed last in the last two. The country has never won a medal in ice hockey.
