ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones has returned to practice a day after injuring his left leg.
Jones was in pads with his teammates and running routes early in Sunday’s practice.
He got tangled up with a teammate on Saturday and landed awkwardly. The training staff evaluated his left leg and he was held out of the rest of practice.
Lions coach Matt Patricia says Jones is fine, adding the team will be cautious with him.
Jones had a career-high 1,101 yards receiving last season. He also had 61 receptions and caught nine touchdown passes.
