San Diego State guard Richie Williams suspended for detrimental conduct

SAN DIEGO (AP) -San Diego State junior guard Richie Williams has been suspended indefinitely from game competition for conduct detrimental to the team, coach Steve Fisher said Monday night.
Fisher said Williams will continue to practice with the team.
Williams averaged 7.3 points, 4.6 assists and 4.0 rebounds as a sophomore.
The Aztecs open the season at home on Friday against Liberty.
