Royals Season Odds

The Kansas City Royals haven’t been relevant in a long time. Can players like Zack Greinke and Billy Butler make them relevant again? Let’s take a look at their odds.

Bet 2010 World Series Odds

The Royals signed Noel Arguelles, Jason Kendall, Rick Ankiel, Scott Podsednik and Brian Anderson this offseason. They also signed Matt Herges, Wilson Betemit and Bruce Chen to minor league deals.

Of the club’s notable losses, Mark Teahen was traded to the White Sox in exchange for Chris Getz and Josh Fields, while Kansas City also parted ways with Mike Jacobs, Miguel Olivo, John Buck, Coco Crisp, Sidney Ponson, Tony Pena Jr. and Jamey Wright.

Of the Royals’ current roster, Greinke, Butler and Joakim Soria are the only players worth watching on a weekly basis. The Royals just don’t have enough talent to compete, although maybe Getz and Fields can produce with fresh starts.

Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com have made the Royals 100/1 long shots to win the 2010 World Series and 50/1 to win the American League Pennant. They’re also15/1 to win the NL Central and have an over/under of 72 for total regular season wins.
