The Flames are coming off an impressive victory over the Blues on Monday night but can they win back-to-back contests when they host the Jets tonight at 10:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Flames are -115 money line favorites versus the Jets, who are -105 on the money so they’re not exactly a major underdog to win tonight. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 5.5 goals.

Calgary shocked the hockey world for a night with a 7-4 victory over St. Louis on Monday, which ended the Blues’ six-game winning streak. But St. Louis had just wrapped up a stretch of four games against playoff opponents Minnesota, Dallas, Chicago and Anaheim and was likely ripped for a letdown. Can the Flames win back-to-back games? Can they put together two impressive efforts?

Based on recent history, that answer would be no. The Flames are 0-4 in their last four games coming off a win and are also 0-4 in their last five contests after scoring five goals or more in their previous game. Calgary is 4-12 in its last 16 games overall and is just 2-8 in its lat 10 playing on one day of rest.
The Jets, who aren’t exactly playing great hockey over their last 10 games either, have at least won back-to-back games. It’s worth the -105 price to see if they can notch another victory in a battle of inconsistent teams.
