Nashville took a 3-0 lead in the series with the 3-2 OT win on Monday. The Predators have now outscored the Blackhawks 9-2 in the three games. Chicago is 50-25-10 overall coming into tonight’s game and 24-13-5 on the road. Nashville is 44-29-12 overall and 25-9-8 at home.
The Predators were the better team in Game 3, despite falling behind 2-0. The team rallied in the third period when Filip Forsberg scored twice to force OT. Kevin Fiala then got the game-winner in OT, 16:44 into the extra frame. Nashville had a 49-36 edge in shots in the win, as well as a 32-16 advantage in hits and a 47-34 advantage in faceoffs.

Chicago actually got a pretty good effort from Corey Crawford in Game 3, and still found a way to lose. Pekka Rinne has been stellar for the series and is playing at home against a Chicago team that has to have some doubts about its situation. The Blackhawks had a great opportunity to get back in the series on Monday, but let it slip away. Nashville should ride that momentum to a sweep tonight at home.
