Saturday’s NHL Playoff Odds
(TheSpread) β The NHL Playoffs have a pair of second round games taking place on Saturday. Here is a look at the odds and over/under totals for both contests.
The first game on the day comes in the Eastern Conference, with No. 1 New York hosting No. 7 Washington at 3PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers see the Rangers as the favorite in Game 1, as they have been given odds of -157 to win the game. Washington has been given a money line of +145 to prevail. The over/under total for goals scored has been set at 5. Washington is 19-21-5 on the road so far for the season and the playoffs while the Rangers are 29-13-3 at home. These two split the season series 2-2, but the Capitals have won six of the last nine against the Rangers.
The second game on Saturday is in the Western Conference, with No. 2 St. Louis hosting No. 8 Los Angeles at 7:30PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, the Blues are the favorite to win Game 1, as they have a money line of -165. Los Angeles has been given odds of +152 to prevail. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 5 goals. Los Angeles has a 21-13-10 record on the road this season while St. Louis is 32-6-6 at home. The Kings won three of four against St. Louis in the regular season, but the Blues have a 7-3 edge over the last 10 games in the series.
