NHL Conference Final Prop Odds
(TheSpread) – The 2011 NHL Conference Finals get started on Saturday and if you don’t like any of the matchups, perhaps prop odds are the way to go.
In the Eastern Conference, No. 3 Boston is taking on No. 5 Tampa Bay while No. 1 Vancouver will face off with No. 2 San Jose in the Western Conference.
In terms of prop odds, there are plenty of options fro you. You can bet on alternate odds for the series, you can bet on exact results or total games played in each series, and you can bet on points for certain players during the series.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com Boston’s Zdeno Chara has over/under odds of 3 points for the Eastern Conference Finals with Tampa Bay. The Boston defenseman has just four points in the playoffs this year. He was held to 1 point in seven games in the opening round, but scored three in the second round sweep of Philadelphia. In three games with Tampa Bay this season, Chara had just one assist and went without a goal.
In the Western Conference, Vancouver’s Daniel Sedin has over/under odds of 6.5 points for their series with San Jose. The Canucks winger has 10 points in 13 playoff games this season. He posted just three points in the series with Nashville but had 7 against Chicago, including four goals. In four games with the Sharks this year, Sedin has had six points on two goals and four assists.
