(TheSpread) – The 2011 Western Conference Playoffs seem somewhat top heavy as it appears three teams have the best chances to win.

The Vancouver Canucks are the favorite to win the Western Conference according to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com. The Canucks have 13/10 odds to win it all while other short odds are Detroit (3/1), San Jose (3/1), and Anaheim (8/1).

The Canucks last won the Western Conference in 1994. The have the top seed in the West after posting a NHL-best 117 points. The Canucks scored 262 goals and allowed 185. Vancouver will take on Chicago in the opening round.

Detroit is the No. 3 seed in the West. The Red Wings won the Central Division with 104 points. They scored 261 goals while allowing 241. They have won the west 6 times, the last of which came in 2009. Detroit will face Phoenix in the first round.

San Jose is the No. 2 seed in the West. The Sharks scored 248 goals and allowed 213 to win the Pacific Division. San Jose will face Los Angeles in the first round of the playoffs. The Sharks have never won the conference championship.

The Ducks last won the conference title in 2007. Anaheim is the No. 4 seed in the playoffs and they will face Nashville in the first round. Anaheim has scored 239 goals while allowing 235.
