2011 Stanley Cup Odds To Win
The 2010-11 NHL Season kicks off on Thursday and three teams are considered the favorites to win the Stanley Cup.
Washington, Chicago, and Pittsburgh each have 5/1 odds to win this season’s Stanley Cup title according to oddsmakers at online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL. Other short odds to win are Vancouver (9/1), San Jose (11/1), and Philadelphia (11/1).
The Capitals were the top seed heading into last year’s Stanley Cup playoffs, but were upset by Montreal in the opening round. Washington posted 121 points last season while scoring a league-high 318 goals. The team was led by Alex Ovechkin, who had 50 goals and 109 points.
