The second round of the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs are set and the updated odds have been released for which team will win it all this year.

After the Washington Capitals were upset in the opening round, the new favorite is the defending Cup champions, the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have given Pittsburgh 5/2 odds to win the Stanley Cup. Other short odds to win are Chicago (4/1), San Jose (5/1), and Detroit (5/1).
Pittsburgh is the defending Stanley Cup champion and has won the last two Eastern Conference titles and won four titles in franchise history while winning three Stanley Cups in franchise history. The Penguins are the No. 4 seed in the East and they will face the No. 8 Montreal Canadiens in the second round.
San Jose is the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and they will host the Red Wings in the second round. The Sharks had 113 points on the season with 51 wins. They scored 264 goals as a team while giving up just 215. The Sharks have never won the Stanley Cup and have never reached the Stanley Cup Finals. The Red Wings have won 11 Stanley Cups in the history of the franchise while also racking up six conference titles. Detroit finished the season with 102 points off 44 wins. The Red Wings scored 229 goals this season while allowing 216.
The Chicago Blackhawks are the No. 2 seed in the West with 112 points. The Blackhawks will face the Vancouver Canucks in the second round. Chicago scored 271 goals as a team this season while allowing only 209. Chicago has won three Stanley Cup titles with the last coming in 1961. Chicago has not played for the Stanley Cup since 1992.
