Super Bowl LIX MVP Odds Super Bowl LIX MVP Odds

The Super Bowl LIX MVP odds have been released well in advance of February 9’s kickoff between the Chiefs and Eagles in New Orleans. While Patrick Mahomes is the favorite, does any other player have comparable odds?

Super Bowl LIX MVP Odds: The Favorite

As previously mentioned, Mahomes is the favorite at even money (1/1). In his three Super Bowl victories with the Chiefs, he took MVP honors in all three games.

While he had a down season compared to previous years, Mahomes was still sensational in the biggest games for the Chiefs this season. None were bigger than last Sunday’s AFC title game against the Bills. In Kansas City’s 32-29 victory, Mahomes completed 18-of-26 passes for 245 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed 11 times for 43 yards and two scores.

If you just wanted to bet on the quarterback position to win the MVP, you could do so at a significant cost. If the Super Bowl LIX MVP winner is a quarterback (most likely Mahomes or Jalen Hurts), the odds are -220.

Super Bowl LIX MVP Odds: The Contenders

The player with the next-best odds to win Super Bowl MVP is Saquon Barkley at 11/4. The aforementioned Hurts is 18/5 to win SBLIX MVP, while Travis Kelce is 14/1. A.J. Brown is 25/1 and Xavier Worthy is 33/1. Chris Jones, DeVonta Smith and Kareem Hunt are all 40/1, respectively. Jalen Carter and Marquise “Hollywood” Brown are 50/1, respectively.

Super Bowl LIX MVP Odds: The Long Shots

Dallas Goedert, George Karlaftis, Harrison Butker, Isiah Paceco and Zack Baun are all 100/1 long shots to win Super Bowl LIX MVP. From there, Cooper DeJean, DeAndre Hopkins, Jake Elliott and JuJu Smith-Schuster are all 150/1, respectively. Noah Gray, tight end for the Chiefs, is 200/1.

Continuing with the long shots, Josh Sweat, Nick Bolton, Nolan Smith, Oren Burks and Trent McDuffie are all 250/1, respectively. C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Charles Omenihu and Jaylen Watson are all 300/1, respectively. Kenneth Gainwell and Darius Slay are both 400/1, respectively, followed by Charmarri Conner, Drew Tranquill, Mike Danna and Samaje Perine at 500/1, respectively.

Super Bowl LIX MVP Odds: By Position

As previously mentioned, the MVP being a quarterback on either team has odds of -220, followed by the running back position at +225. If you bet the running back, you might as well take Barkley at +275. Could Pacheco or Hunt emerge as the MVP? Sure, but it’s doubtful. So you might as well take the better odds.

Meanwhile, the MVP being a wide receiver from either team is +650, followed by 9/1 odds for a tight end. A defensive MVP has 16/1 odds, while the kicker position is 50/1.
