Allen Robinson caught 2-of-5 targets for 23 yards in the Rams’ Week 3 win over the Cardinals. Robinson’s five targets were good enough for a 20% share and second on the team to Cooper Kupp’s six, but Robinson dropped a would-be touchdown at the goal line on a quick slant, and he and Matthew Stafford couldn’t hook up on a couple other red-zone looks. It’s clear the Rams are trying to get Robinson involved, but the connection with Stafford isn’t yet crisp. Robinson has seven catches for 88 yards and one touchdown through three games. He’ll be a back-end WR3 for Week 4 against the Niners.
San Francisco 49ers DFS Spin
Speaking Monday, 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan indicated that LT Trent Williams (ankle) could be out for 4-6 weeks. Shanahan was ambiguous on Williams’ timeline, telling reporters that it would be difficult to know until the swelling went down. Shanahan did confirm that Williams suffered a high ankle sprain. Even if Williams’ injury isn’t as bad as feared Shanahan indicated that he still expects him to miss “some time.” It’s an unfortunate development for one of the best tackles in football. Jimmy Garoppolo may have less time to throw in the coming weeks.
