ARLINGTON, TX (TheSpread) – Donald Driver is the cagey veteran of the Green Bay Packers receiving corp. Will his experience pay off in Super Bowl XLV?

Driver was drafted in 1999 by Green Bay and has had a very productive career since. This season, Driver had some injury issues to overcome, which forced him to sit out three games. Still, Driver finished the season with 51 catches for 565 yards and four touchdowns.
When it comes to prop odds for Driver for the Super Bowl, oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com currently have Driver with over/under odds of 47.5 receiving yards for Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh.
Driver wasn’t as productive this year as he has been in the past, averaging just 37.7 receiving yards per game, but in the playoffs, Driver caught 12 passes for 141 yards in three games. He has had at least 48 receiving yards in 6 of 16 games this season.
When looking at the Pittsburgh defense, the Steelers give up 214.1 passing yards per game. Their strength is their rushing defense, so that opens up some possibility for the Green Bay passing games. Driver has some deep-play ability as he has caught a pass of 20 yards or more in seven different games.
Driver also has over/under odds of 4 receptions for the game. He has caught at least 4 passes in 9 of 16 games he played in. Driver’s number may be down, but his is still a consistent factor in the offense and if the Packers are keying in on Greg Jennings, that opens the door for Driver to have a big game. Driver could also be the benefactor of hot route reads against Pittsburgh’s blitz packages, which could boost his numbers as well.
