Arizona Cardinals DFS Spin

Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins (knee) was downgraded to out for Week 17 against the Falcons. Hopkins popped on the injury report on Friday after sustaining a knee injury in the final training session prior to the weekend, which caused the alpha wide receiver to be held out of the final portion of practice. The Cardinals now turn to Marquise Brown, Greg Dortch, A.J. Green, and Robbie Anderson at wide receiver against the Falcons.

Atlanta Falcons DFS Spin

Tyler Allgeier rushed 18 times for 74 yards in the Falcons’ Week 16 loss to the Ravens, adding four catches for 43 additional yards. Allgeier led the Falcons in rush for the second-consecutive week, out-touching Cordarrelle Patterson 18-8 on rush attempts. Allgeier ripped off several hard-grinding runs and also turned in an impressive 26-yard reception late in the second quarter to help set up a field goal for Younghoe Koo. Allgeier appears to have established himself as the lead back in Atlanta’s offense and has now seen double-digit carries in four-straight games. Still, Atlanta’s offensive struggles will limit him to a mid-RB2 for fantasy purposes in next week’s matchup against the Cardinals.
