Chicago Bears DFS Notes
David Montgomery (ankle/knee) will not play in Week 4 against the Giants. Montgomery officially didn’t practice at all this week and while Bears coach Matt Eberflus called him “day-to-day,” after it happened, it was pretty evident that this wasn’t a short-term injury. Khalil Herbert’s runway for RB1 this week is now cleared. Montgomery isn’t necessarily a lock to play next week with this participation report, so managers will have to monitor his early practice reports for Week 5 for positive signs.
New York Giants DFS Notes
Kadarius Toney (hamstring) won’t play in Week 4 against the Bears. With Toney and Wan’Dale Robinson out this week, the Giants will start Richie James, David Sills, and Kenny Golladay at receiver. James leads the trio with 17 targets on the year. He has some low-end FLEX appeal based on his role, but betting on the Giants has proven to be a risky proposition this year.
