SAN DIEGO, CA (ATS Consultants) – The Seahawks and Chargers will kickoff tonight at 8:00PM ET in a dress rehearsal for the regular season for both teams.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Chargers are now 2.5-point home underdogs versus the Seahawks after opening as a 1-point dog. The total currently sits at 42 after opening at that same number.
The Chargers have played the preseason as if they are protecting their key players, including Phillip Rivers. As for the Seahawks, they are looking for more consistency on offense.
Rivers will see action for the first time, but doesn’t need that much action to get warmed up for the regular season. Seattle QB Russell Wilson has to develop more chemistry with TE Jimmy Graham and the new-look offensive line has to gain cohesion. Wilson could go into the third quarter as last week, he played a half.
