Depending on what spread you got, New York either covered as a 7.5 or 8-point underdog or pushed as a 7-point road dog. Either way, the Jets had a very Jets-like moment in the fourth quarter when it appeared that quarterback Geno Smith threw the game-tying touchdown to Jeremy Kerley. But the Jets’ sideline had called for and was granted a timeout, which wiped out the play. The Jets fell to 1-1 on the year.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Jets are 2-point favorites over the Bears while the total is currently sitting at 45 points. This game opened as a pick’em before the line moved in favor of New York, while the total opened at 45.5 and that’s where it currently sits.
