Jets vs. Patriots Line Movement
FOXBORO, MA (TheSpread) – The odds have been solidly behind New England all week in its game with the New York Jets on Sunday, but here is a look at how the odds have moved during the week.

Oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have given the Patriots point spread odds of -9.5 against the Jets. The over/under total has been set at 44 points. (View Matchup)
Since the matchup was set, the Patriots opened as a 9-point favorite at home against the Jets. New England has a 45-3 win over the Jets at home already this season and won eight-straight games by an average of 21.75 points per victory.
Despite the large spread, the odds actually moved up to 9.5 points late in the week after holding strong at 9 points. Perhaps this was due to the smack talk by the Jets that could only fuel the fire of the motivated Patriots.
The over/under opened at 45 points and quickly climbed to 45.5 points and held there most of the week before starting to fall back. The total ultimately closed at 44 points.
