Oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com currently have the Packers as a 3.5-point favorite against the Bears on Sunday. The over/under total has been set at 43 points. (View Matchup)

The Bears are 12-5 on the year and 6-3 at home while the Packers are 12-6 on the year and 5-5 in road games. Chicago is 10-6-1 against the spread this year while Green Bay is 11-7 against the spread.

Over 47,000 public bets have been placed on this game and Green Bay is getting 64% of the wagers with odds of -3.5 at Chicago.

These two teams haven’t met in the playoffs since the 1940’s, but they are great rivals. The Packers have won four of the last six meetings overall, but are just 1-2 in their last 3 games in Chicago, including a 20-17 loss earlier this season.

Despite the struggles, bettors like more of what they have seen from Green Bay in the playoffs as the Packers rolled through the Eagles and the Falcons, while the Bears were able to host a sub-.500 Seattle team last week.

Even with this being a game in Chicago and in some unkind conditions, the public hasn’t been shying away from Green Bay with the lofty spread for a road team. Any spread over 3 points is somewhat surprising at this point, especially for a road team.
