The Atlanta Falcons may not get to face Michael Vick but they will take a win nonetheless on Sunday when they meet Philadelphia at 1PM ET.

Bet Falcons vs. Eagles Odds

Atlanta is 4-1 on the season and 2-1 on the road while the Eagles are 3-2 overall and 0-2 at home. The Eagles have won 8 of the last 12 meetings with the Falcons including all five that were in Philadelphia.

Oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL have made the Eagles a 1.5-point favorite at home against Atlanta. The over/under has been set at 42.5.

The opening odds had Philadelphia favored by 3 points but that spread has worked its way down o 1.5 throughout the week. The over/under started at 42.5 and has dropped to 42 periodically but is now back at 42.5.

The Eagles are 3-2 but just 1-2 in games where Kevin Kolb has played. Kolb entered the season as the starter but suffered a concussion and was replaced by Michael Vick who won the starting job with his play until suffering a rib injury. Vick isn’t expected to play this week, which puts Kolb back in the spotlight. Kolb has completed 63 percent of his passes and thrown for 478 yards with two touchdowns, but the offense hasn’t been as crisp with him on the field. LeSean McCoy has rushed for 365 yards and five touchdowns to boost the offense.

Atlanta is 4-1 on the season having won its last four. The Falcons have won their last three games by 10 points or less. The defense has been the strong point as Atlanta is holding opponents to just 14 points per game. As a team, Atlanta has 10 interceptions, which leads the NFL. Michael Turner has rushed for 421 yards and a score to lead the offense while Matt Ryan has thrown for 1,165 yards and seven touchdowns.

Trends favor Philadelphia in this game as the Falcons are just 2-8-1 against the spread in the last 11 games with the Eagles and the favorite is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings between these two teams.

Along with Vick, tackle Jason Peters is also doubtful for the Eagles with a knee injury while receiver DeSean Jackson is probable with a sprained knee. Atlanta defensive end John Abraham is questionable for the game with a back injury while linebacker Sean Weatherspoon is doubtful with a knee injury.

Over 16,000 public bets have been made on this game and 72% are going on the Falcons +1.5 against the Eagles.
