2010 NFL Week 3 Odds

Big matchups in the NFC South and AFC East litter the Week 3 schedule in the NFL, which concludes with a huge bout in the NFC North on Monday Night Football. Let’s take a look at the Week 3 odds.

Bet NFL Week 3 Odds

New York Jets at Miami Dolphins

All of the upgrades the Dolphins made to their defense has translated into wins in the team’s first two weeks, as Miami has held opponents to only 20 points so far in 2010. They’ll take on a Jets team this Sunday coming off a huge win over the Patriots in New York. This will be the Dolphins’ first home game of the year and the Jets’ first road game. Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have installed Miami as a 1-point favorite, while the over/under total is sitting at 35.

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

As of this writing, the Saints haven’t played the 49ers yet on Monday Night Football, so the odds for their big divisional bout with the Falcons have yet to be released. Either way, this is shaping up to be a big matchup – one that will impact the race in the NFC South. The Falcons are coming off an impressive 41-7 rout over the Cardinals in Week 2, while the Saints beat the Vikings on opening night. Michael Turner is expected to play in this game following a groin injury suffered against Arizona, which is big because the Saints’ weakness is up the middle on defense. It’s only Monday, but start getting excited for this one…

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

Who would have thought that after two weeks of football, the Bears would be 2-0 and the Cowboys and Vikings would be 0-2? Not that Chicago doesn’t have talent because it does. But not too many people predicted that Dallas and Minnesota would look so bad early in the year. Regardless, the Bears and Packers will meet at Solider Field on Monday night in a game that features two undefeated teams battling it out in the NFC North. Oddsmakers have installed Green Bay as the opening 3-point favorite, but it’ll be interesting to see how the money moves this line throughout the week.
