NFL Week 2 Trends

It’s time to look at some of the key trends for Week 2 in the NFL, including for the big matchups in New York, Cincinnati and Washington this Sunday.

Ravens vs. Bengals Trends

The Ravens are 16-5 against the spread in all games where the total is between 35.5 and 42 points over the last three seasons, and is 7-0 ATS in September games over the last three years. The Bengals are just 9-21 ATS in home games in September dating back to 1992.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Ravens a 1-point favorite over the Bengals for their matchup on Sunday.

Texans vs. Redskins

The Redskins are 10-22 ATS in home games in September since 1992, which doesn’t bode well with Houston coming to town. The Texans are 2.5-point road favorites in Washington this weekend.

Patriots vs. Jets

The Jets are 12-3 ATS after playing on Monday night since 1992, but 9-21 ATS in home games in September since 1992. Meanwhile, the Patriots are 90-65 ATS in all games where the total is between 35.5 and 42 points since 1992 and 39-22 ATS in road games versus division opponents since 1992. Oddsmakers have installed New England as a 2.5-point road favorite.
