Las Vegas NFL Week 2 Odds
What lines has Las Vegas released for Week 2 in the NFL? Let’s take a look and compare them to what the online books have for their point spreads.
Here are a couple of games where the MGM Mirage sports book in Las Vegas differs from the online books in terms of the point spreads:
Bears vs. Cowboys
According to online sports book BroburySports.com, the Cowboys are 9-point home favorites against the Bears in Week 2, while Vegas is offering the ‘Boys at –8.5. Both teams had lackluster performances in Week 1, although Chicago was still able to muster out a win over the lowly Lions.
Dolphins vs. Vikings
The Vikings are 6-point home favorites against the Dolphins in Week 2 online, but Vegas as the Dolphins at +5.5. Miami got a late safety to cover the spread against Buffalo in Week 1, while Minnesota covered the spread in New Orleans if you got them at +6, which some books offered leading up to kickoff.
Eagles vs. Lions
Both of these teams are expected to be without their starting quarterbacks for Sundays game, although Kevin Kolb has a better chance to play than Matthew Stafford, who is expected to miss up to six weeks with a shoulder injury. The Eagles are 3-point road favorites online, but –3.5 at Vegas. Expect this line to go up, especially considering with how well Michael Vick played on Sunday in backup duty.
