Cowboys vs. Colts Free Pick

Indianapolis, IN (TheSpread) – The Indianapolis Colts are suddenly reeling after losing two straight. They’ll have a chance to get back on track this Sunday when they host the Dallas Cowboys at 4:15PM ET.

According to NFL Week 13 odds and oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, the Colts are 5-point favorites over the Cowboys on Sunday. The over/under total for this game is currently 47.5 points.

The Cowboys dropped to 3-8 after narrowly losing to the Saints on Thanksgiving. They did cover, however, and are now 4-7 against the spread according to latest NFL trends. They’re just 2-3 on the road this year and have failed to cover in three of those five games.

The Colts were crushed by the Chargers last Sunday in Indianapolis and are now one loss away from dropping to .500 on the season. They are 6-4-1 against the spread, however, which includes a 3-2 record at home. They’re also 4-1 at Lucas Oil Stadium.

NFL Week 13 Free Pick:

The Colts are due to have one of those games when Peyton Manning explodes. He hasn’t played well the past two games and has been turning the ball over at a Brett Favre-like clip. But the Cowboys’ defense can be had through the air and while Indy could stand to run the ball more, this is a game Manning can win on his own. On the other side, Jon Kitna has surprisingly played well the past couple of weeks and had a big second half against the Saints last Sunday. The Colts’ defense was brutal last week and Dallas should be able to take advantage of Indy’s inconsistent secondary. With the amount of playmakers on both sides of the ball, the combined score has a great chance of going over the posted total. The over is 8-0 in the Cowboys’ last eight games overall and 4-0 in their last four games as an underdog. Our pick is the over 47.5.
