Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Detroit Lions a 7-point home underdog against the New England Patriots on Thanksgiving Day. While the Lions have been a staple of Thanksgiving Day NFL action, they’ve lost six straight Turkey Day games and have gone 2-8 in the past decade.
According to latest NFL odds, the Dallas Cowboys are 3-point home dogs against the New Orleans Saints on Thanksgiving. Tony Romo is still a couple of weeks away from making his return, but Jon Kitna has held his own over the past two weeks and the ‘Boys are now 2-0 under interim head coach Jason Garrett.
The final Thursday game is a rematch of the AFC Wild Card Playoff matchup from 2009. The New York Jets are currently 9-point favorites over the Cincinnati Bengals, while the over/under total is currently 43.5 points.
In non-Thanksgiving Day action, the Atlanta Falcons will host the Green Bay Packers at 1:00PM ET on Sunday. The 8-2 Falcons are currently a 1-point favorite over Green Bay but according to latest NFL public betting information, 62% of the public favors Green Bay +1.
In what could be the most underrated matchup of Week 12, the 7-3 Baltimore Ravens will host the 7-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 4:15PM ET on Sunday afternoon. The Ravens have opened as a 9-point favorite, while the over/under total is currently 40.5.
