NFL Week 1 Las Vegas Odds
As a bettor, sometimes it helps when you can see what a book in Las Vegas has set the lines at, even if you’re going to use another avenue to place your wager. Read on to check out what Vegas has for odds in Week 1 of the NFL season.
Starting off with the opening night game this Thursday, the Minnesota Vikings are +4.5 at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, compared to the New Orleans Saints being a 5-point favorite at some online sports books.
Another difference between Vegas lines and online sports book lines is the Atlanta Falcons–Pittsburgh Steelers game this Sunday. Vegas has the Steelers as a 2.5-point home dog, while online sports book Sportsbook.com has the Falcons at –2.
The online books also have the edge on the Cincinnati Bengals–New England Patriots game this Sunday if you’re taking the favorite. The Pats are –3.5 online, but –4.5 in Vegas.
As always, be sure to line shop for the best odds available this week in the NFL. Obviously there’s no sense in giving the edge to a book if you can find a better price elsewhere.
