Oregon at UCLA

Just when things seemed to be going well for No. 13

Oregon
, the Ducks may now have to play Saturday’s game at UCLA without starting quarterback Jeremiah Masoli.

A right knee injury has caused Masoli to miss practice this week for the Ducks and the quarterback is questionable for today’s game at 3:30PM ET from The Rose Bowl.

Masoli has improved throughout the season, leading the Ducks on a four-game winning streak. Masoli has thrown for 748 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 218 yards and five scores for the Ducks. Nate Costa has taken snaps in practice this week and is ready to play for Masoli if he can’t go. Costa has thrown for 115 yards on 11-of-16 passing in two games this season for the Ducks. If Costa is at QB,

Oregon
will have to rely on its running game, led by Ed Dickson, who has 309 yards on the season with four touchdowns. Currently the Ducks are first in the PAC 10 in the points scored and are third in the conference in rushing yards. On defense, the Ducks are among the bottom half of the conference in rushing yards allowed at 637 yards.

UCLA is 3-1 on the year with the lone loss coming last week at the hands of Stanford, 24-16. Kevin Prince missed the last two games at quarterback for the Bruins with a broken jaw, but is expected to return on Saturday. Prince has thrown for 277 yards and two touchdowns in two games of action. Johnathan Franklin has rushed for 300 yards and three touchdowns. The Bruins have rushed for 497 yards as a team on the year, which is second to last in the conference. UCLA has managed to remain competitive through the season thanks to its defense, where it ranks second in points allowed per-game and third in yards allowed.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made

Oregon
3.5-point road favorites over UCLA on Saturday afternoon. The over/under total for this game has been established at 46.5.
