Head coach Brian Kelly mentioned during Thursday’s press conference that he think it’ll take “a few weeks” for John Emery to get back up to speed with his reactions and reads, Wilson Alexander of The New Orleans Advocate reports. Emery’s season-long academic suspension has concluded and he will be eligible to suit up for Saturday’s meeting with Mississippi State. Kelly’s comments suggest Emery could be limited over the next couple of games while he continues to gain familiarity with the offense.
