According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Utes are 5-point home favorites over the Wolverines, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 46 points. Michigan opened as 5.5-point underdogs but the line is dropping, while the total opened at 46.5, which is where it is now.
The Wolverines haven’t had much success covering versus the Pac-12, going 0-8 against the number in its last eight games versus the conference. Michigan is also 1-6 ATS in its last seven non-conference games and 0-6 ATS in its last six games played in September.
As for the Utes, they’re a perfect 5-0 against the spread in their last five games versus the Big Ten and 4-1 against the number in their last five Thursday games. Utah waxed Michigan 26-10 in Ann Arbor last year and the Wolverines have still yet to announce a quarterback, although Jake Rudock is the presumed favorite.
