Florida vs. Texas A&M Free Pick
COLLEGE STATION, TX (ATS Consultants) – Texas A&M and No. 24 Florida meet up in a key SEC game on Saturday at 3:30PM ET on ESPN from Kyle Field.
Florida is 1-0 on the season but 0-1 against the spread while Texas A&M is playing in its first game. The Aggies were 4-9 against the spread in the 2011 season, including a 3-4 record ATS at home. Florida was 7-6 against the spread last season, including 2-2 ATS on the road.
Odds: The oddsmakers have Texas A&M as the favorite at home in this game, as the Aggies are getting odds of -1.5 against Florida. The over/under odds for the game have been set at 51 points.
Line Movement: Opening odds had Florida favored, as the Gators had a point spread of -1. The spread quickly jumped to Texas A&M -2.5 but has since fallen back to 1.5.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL FREE PICK: Texas A&M is 15-5 ATS in home openers. The Aggies are playing their first game after their opener was postponed. So this ends up being their first-ever SEC contest. New coach Kevin Sumlin will have a redshirt freshman under center in Johnny Manziel but Florida has a situation as well with Jeff Driskel taking over as a starting qb. The Gators did not look impressive in their 27-14 win over Bowling Green, after Driskel rotated at qb with Jacob Brissett. The good thing for A&M is that they return four starters from an O-line that surrendered nine sacks last season. Senior WRs Ryan Swope and Uzoma Nwachukwu can make Manziel’s job much easier. Then add senior RB Christine Michael against a defense that allowed just 4.1 ypc in the opener and the Aggies should roll.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 2 FREE PICK: TEXAS A&M -1.5
