No. 11 Michigan State is looking to get one step closer to a Big Ten title on Saturday when the Spartans host Purdue at Noon ET.

Michigan State is 9-1 on the season and 5-1 in the Big Ten, which puts them tied with Wisconsin and Ohio State for first place in the conference. Purdue is 4-6 overall and 2-4 in the Big Ten. The Spartans are 6-0 at home and Purdue is 1-3 on the road.

Trends show that the home team has covered in 9 of the last 12 games in this series while the Boilermakers are 1-5 ATS in their last six games at MSU. The under has hit in four of the last five in this series at MSU.

Kirk Cousins has thrown for 2,277 yards and 15 touchdowns while Edwin Baker has 979 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. Mark Dell and B.J. Cunningham each have 41 receptions for a combined 1,180 yards and 10 touchdowns. The defense has a total of 14 interceptions.

Purdue started off 4-2 and has since lost four straight, losing by at least 11 points per game during that stretch. The Boilermakers are averaging under 10 points per game during this losing streak. The offense is averaging 305.1 yards per game while the defense is giving up 364.4 yards per game. Purdue hasn’t had many leaders on offense as quarterbacks Rob Henry and Robert Marve have combined for just over 1,070 yards and six touchdowns with eight interceptions. Dan Dierking and Henry have combined for just under 1,000 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.

Michigan State receiver Keshawn Martin will play on Saturday for the Spartans after missing previous games with an ankle Injury while receiver Mark Dell is questionable with a leg injury. Purdue’s Justin Siller is out with a foot injury while receiver O.J. Ross is questionable with a shoulder injury.
