OSU at Indiana
Indiana nearly upset a top 25 team last week, and on Saturday the Hoosiers will try again when they host No. 9 Ohio State from Memorial Stadium at 7PM ET.
The Hooisers led No. 22 Michigan nearly all game last Saturday before being edged by the Wolverines 36-33 for their first loss. Indiana holds wins over Eastern Kentucky, Western Michigan, and Akron on the year to start 3-1. While Indiana hasn’t had the toughest competition, it does rank in the top half of the Big Ten in most offensive categories. Ben Chappell has thrown for 944 yards and three touchdowns at quarterback for Indiana, while Demetrious McCray and Mitchell Evans have each rushed for over 200 yards on the year. Tandon Doss is leading the IU receivers with 26 catches for 374 yards. On defense, the Hoosiers also rank in the top half in most team categories, led by rushing defense, where IU is second in the conference with only 377 yards allowed.
The Buckeyes are 3-1 on the year and are a fourth-quarter drive away from being 4-0. Following an 18-15 loss to USC in week two, Ohio State has responded with back-to-back shutouts of Toledo and Illinois. Ohio State ranks third in the conference in rushing yards but is third to last in passing yards as Terrelle Pryor continues to develop at quarterback. Pryor has thrown for 695 yards and five touchdowns on the year, but also has four interceptions. Pryor leads the Buckeyes in rushing as well with 235 yards and two touchdowns. The Buckeyers are second in the Big Ten in points and yards allowed per-game, and have six interceptions on the year.
