Hokies vs. Seminoles Prediction
The last time the 16th-ranked Virginia Tech Hokies met the 12th-ranked Florida State Seminoles, the latter prevailed in overtime. Will it be a reversal of fortunes today for Virginia Tech when it meets FSU in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament quarterfinals?

The Hokies are 5-0 ATS in their last five neutral site games. Virginia Tech is 4-1 ATS in its last five ACC games.
The Seminoles are 1-4 ATS in their last five ACC games. Florida State is 6-1-2 ATS in its last nine neutral court games.
Despite the 73-64 OT loss at Florida State earlier this month, I think the Hokies are the more complete team here. A lot of that has to do with the Seminoles perhaps being a bit too deep and not playing their best players a premium number of minutes. In a tournament setting like this where two more games after this will need to be won, I wouldn’t expect a minutes increase for the FSU core players today and that will likely be to its detriment. The Hokies have looked good in blasting Miami in back-to-back games after the Florida State loss and I think they continue rolling today.
