Who We Like: Michigan State has been a team that has tended to play down to its competition, so the big spread concerns me. The Spartans also have been off for two weeks, which seems like another red flag. However, this game being at Detroit makes it nearly a home game for MSU. The Spartans were a much better team at home than on the road. MSU was 10-6-1 against the spread in home games. Bucknell is a team that likes to push a pace, which will play into Michigan State’s favor. The Spartans have the athletes where they want up-tempo offense. Bucknell isn’t a half-court team and I think that will ultimately lead to problems. I like the Spartans to get into a groove and pick up a lopsided win tonight.
