(The Spread) – March Madness continues Friday night with more exciting Sweet 16 matchups, perhaps none as highly anticipated as top-seeded Ohio State doing battle with fourth-seeded Kentucky.

Ohio State, now sporting a record of 34-2, will start at approximately 9:45PM EST in the contest against 27-8 Kentucky. Ohio State is coming off a 98-66 thrashing of George Mason in its Third Round game, while Kentucky was also impressive in disposing West Virginia by a count of 71-63.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Ohio State 5.5-point favorites in the game, while the over-under is set at 140. The Buckeyes are winners of nine in a row, while the Wildcats are winners of eight straight games.
According to latest college basketball trends, Kentucky is 37-20 against the spread when playing with five or six days rest since 1997. Ohio State is 18-8 ATS after scoring 80 points or more over the last three seasons. Ohio State is 174-135 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record since 1997.

No. 1 Kansas (34-2) does battle with 12th seed Richmond (29-7) at 7:27PM EST. Kansas is a 10.5-point favorite, while the over-under is listed at 135.5. No. 10 seed Florida State meets 12th seed Virginia Commonwealth at approximately 9:57PM EST. Florida State is a 4-point favorite with an over-under set at 131.
